Fiona and Josh's Engagement Shoot

Fiona got in contact with me at the start of this year, after she found me on Instagram after she got engaged in Dubrovnik (what a place to get engaged, I would absolutely love to visit Croatia!). I love being a London wedding photographer as I always visiting new places and hidden gems as I discovered on this shoot.

Fiona and Josh love the outdoors so thought a park would be the perfect setting for their engagement shoot. We decided on Richmond Park (just a stone throw from the university I graduated from) and after re-scheduling a couple of times due to rain we finally got to explore.

Exploring on an evening is highly recommended; only 4 days earlier the Park was swarming with thousands of people - this is no exaggeration. Luckily, on this evening it was very quiet so we had lots of opportunities for picturesque backdrops. We strolled through the Isabella Plantation which is out of this world.

Here is what Fiona had to say:

We booked Lucie for an engagement shoot having searched for a while for a photographer whose style we liked. Lucie is very approachable and friendly and always prompt in getting in back to your queries. Lucie went that extra mile to try and capture some really beautiful photos and listened to what we wanted - she picked us up in her car and drove us around the (very large) park until we found a backdrop we liked the look of. She even gave us a lift to the train station! We had both never really had our photographs taken in this setting but Lucie made us feel so comfortable and in turn, captured some really natural moments between us. We have just looked through our gallery and we are so pleased with the photographs. Thank you so much, Lucie!
